Readiness & Adoption Lead

Overview

As a Journal/Platform Readiness Coordinator, you will drive operational readiness and adoption for publishing platform rollouts within a global information and analytics leader. You work across Operations, Support, and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions from deployment to business as usual, capturing lessons for future readiness. You’ll identify risks, coordinate go/no-go decisions, and enable teams with clear operational guidance and training. This role offers impact by shaping how researchers and healthcare professionals access trusted publishing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and assess readiness across people, processes, systems, data and dependencies
• Coordinate readiness inputs, go/no-go decisions, deployment plans and pre-go-live checks
• Identify gaps, risks and blockers and drive corrective actions before deployment
• Assess what is changing, who is impacted and how ways of working will be affected
• Coordinate communications, training and enablement to support adoption
• Monitor adoption during rollout and early BAU, identifying confusion, workarounds and risks
• Maintain alignment across Operations, Support and suppliers throughout deployment and stabilisation
• Support transition through hypercare and aftercare into BAU and feed lessons learned into future readiness criteria and rollout planning

Key requirements

• Experience delivering platform deployments and operational readiness in complex environments
• Strong understanding of systems, workflows and downstream operational impacts
• Experience applying structured change management and adoption approaches
• Ability to translate technical change into clear operational guidance
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
