An experienced tax lawyer is sought by a leading international firm to be its sole Tax PSL/Knowledge Lawyer on either a full or part-time basis.
The firm’s highly regarded Tax team advises on a broad range of market leading transactional and advisory matters, covering both international and domestic tax issues. In this new role, your responsibilities will include keeping the lawyers updated on UK and international tax developments, designing and delivering training, maintaining and updating templates and practice notes, and supporting the development and effective use of legal technology tools, including the firm’s AI tools, across the London office and internationally. As the firm’s sole Tax PSL, you will have a high level of autonomy and will work collaboratively with colleagues in various other departments across the firm including the business development and marketing teams. You will also support and coordinate with colleagues in the firm’s international offices.
The successful candidate will be a senior level lawyer with significant experience in UK tax matters, ideally gained at a major international firm. Our client is happy to consider lawyers who are looking to make their first move into a PSL role as well as current PSLs, but a strong interest in knowledge management and legal training is essential. You should also be keen to engage with legal technology, AI and innovation, and previous experience in this area would be advantageous.
