Buyer – Raw Materials

Overview

In this role, you will steward THG’s raw materials sourcing for the Beauty division, partnering with internal functions to secure commercially sound agreements. You will drive strategic sourcing, contract risk management, and supplier performance to support packaging and timing needs. Your work helps reduce costs and boost productivity across the supply ecosystem. This position offers the chance to influence procurement strategy at a fast-growing global company and work with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contractual clauses to secure appropriate risk allocation
• Partner with product development, finance, supply chain and technical teams
• Execute strategic sourcing and select optimal channels and vendors
• Communicate contractual risk and opportunity to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve cost and productivity via supplier management
• Focus on supply chain management to ensure correct packaging, timing and placement
• Complete tenders and conduct commercial analysis to report savings and impact to senior management
