Senior construction disputes lawyer in Birmingham leading complex contentious matters and growing the firm’s construction practice. You will manage disputes across adjudications, arbitrations, and litigation, while strengthening client relationships and driving new work. The role combines technical expertise with strategic business development and leadership within a team-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of contentious construction matters for developers, contractors, employers, consultants and stakeholders
• Manage and resolve complex disputes across adjudications, arbitrations, and litigation
• Advise on defects, delays, extensions of time, loss and expense, and payment disputes
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key industry contacts
• Support business development and generate new work to grow the practice

Key requirements

• Minimum 6 years PQE in contentious construction matters
• Proven track record in handling complex construction disputes and dispute resolution strategies
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic, solutions-focused guidance
• Proven client relationship management and proactive business development
