Overview

In this Lead Software Engineer role, you will drive engineering excellence within Accenture’s Software & Platform Engineering team, balancing hands-on delivery with team leadership. You will work on digital product initiatives for diverse clients, often spanning multiple domains and technology stacks. The role emphasizes delivering high-value outcomes with scalable, secure, and performant solutions. You’ll collaborate across client teams and internal communities, shaping technical conversations and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a software engineering team to deliver high-quality digital products
• Contribute hands-on technical expertise while guiding others to implement effective solutions
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and translate them into scalable architecture
• Maintain focus on value, simplicity, and performance in delivery
• Contribute to internal and regional engineering communities to share learning and shape tech direction

Key requirements

• Several years of experience with Java, TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte
• Cloud-native experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi)
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Strong focus on accessibility, security, performance, and caching
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to grow team members’ careers
