Fire Damper Engineer

As a Fire Damper Engineer, you will inspect and test fire dampers across commercial and residential sites in the West Midlands, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering accurate service reports. Pay / Benefits

• 32,000-36,000 salary

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire dampers across commercial and residential sites
• Perform routine damper inspections in line with standards and regulations
• Identify defects and carry out remedial works where needed
• Prepare accurate service reports and record inspection findings
• Work at client sites across the West Midlands and surrounding areas
• Maintain high health and safety standards while delivering professional service
• Be flexible to cover day and twilight shifts

Key requirements

• Previous experience as a Fire Damper Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of fire damper testing, inspection and remedial works
• Knowledge of or qualification relating to BS 9999:2017 (preferred)
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to work day and twilight shifts
