In Deloitte Technology & Transformation’s Cyber Defence team, you play a key role shaping security operations and advisory work across SOC tooling and data platforms. You lead projects, drive innovation, and set direction for client demands, ensuring cutting-edge cyber defence capabilities. You’ll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver analytics-driven protections and threat hunting workflows. Responsibilities

• Lead projects delivering Security Operations solutions and tooling for clients
• Drive innovation by researching new technologies and analytic techniques
• Develop data models and analytics to support threat hunting workflows
• Oversee model development, detections, and automations for advanced threats
• Lead data management, analytics, and visualization to meet client needs
• Build positive client and Deloitte team relationships
• Support contract development and renewals related to security services
• Refine data pipelines and architectures for hosting analysis and modeling

Key requirements

• Proficient in Python, C#, or similar
• Strong experience with Security Operating Platforms and SIEM/SOAR/EDR-XDR
• Experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle), CrowdStrike, Wiz, Cribl, Microsoft Sentinel, and Defender XDR
• Experience designing data flow processes and architectures
• Knowledge of ML/AI concepts and data ingestion
• Cloud computing experience (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-modal delivery environments
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
