Site Setup Delivery Manager

Overview

In this role, you will own the end-to-end delivery of site setup projects, translating business needs into practical IT delivery plans. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely, compliant delivery of LAN/WAN and related infrastructure. Travel across the North East is required, with occasional UK trips, and BPSS clearance is essential. You will drive standardisation, manage risks, and keep customer objectives at the heart of delivery. This is a chance to shape critical infrastructure projects within a leading construction-infrastructure group.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of site setup projects from plan to live operation and decommissioning
• Translate requirements into practical IT solutions (LAN/WAN/telephony)
• Manage budgets, forecasts and financial reporting with approvals
• Coordinate internal and external resources to keep delivery on track
• Identify and mitigate delays, risks, issues and dependencies
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain project plans and reporting on progress, finances, resources and risks
• Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders and communicate complex technical info clearly
• Promote standardised solutions and seek efficiency improvements

Key requirements

• Experience delivering site setup projects with budget management, supplier coordination and resource scheduling
• Experience using PRINCE2 or other recognised project management methodologies
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure delivery (LAN/WAN)
• Proactive, results-focused with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Experience translating requirements into practical technical solutions
