Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Technical Consultant

Overview

As an Oracle Cloud ERP Finance technical consultant, you translate finance requirements into a live, tested Oracle Cloud solution. You own the build within a larger transformation, from design to go-live, including integrations, data migration, and validation. You work closely with the client’s finance and IT teams, explaining technical decisions in clear terms. You’ll join a cross-functional, AI-focused delivery team and contribute to high-impact, end-to-end finance transformations. This role offers ownership, rigorous governance, and the chance to shape CFO-focused outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Configure Oracle Cloud ERP Financials across core modules and related structures
• Translate finance requirements into build specifications and documentation
• Design, test, and deploy reports, interfaces, data conversions, and integrations
• Lead data migration activities (FBDI, ADFdi) and ensure cutover readiness
• Build and validate BI reports (BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View) and leverage OIC with REST/SOAP
• Maintain standard configurations, justify design choices, and extend where appropriate
• Conduct client workshops, explain decisions, and secure sign-off evidence
• Collaborate with workstreams for delivery, coaching teammates, and reusing components

Key requirements

• Deep Oracle Cloud ERP Financials configuration experience across GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Tax, Intercompany
• Experience with Subledger Accounting, FCCS consolidation, EDMCS enterprise data, and related data models
• Hands-on integration experience (Oracle Integration Cloud, REST, SOAP) and data migration (FBDI, ADFdi)
• Experience with BI tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View) and reporting
• Ability to design and justify configurations, work with clients, and deliver under pressure
• Professional finance or accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent industry experience)
• Oracle certification is a plus
