Backend-Leaning Full Stack Engineer | Sports Technology | C# / Node.js/ AWS
A global sports technology business whose video, data and analytics products are used every day by clubs, universities, leagues and professional organisations worldwide, from grassroots to elite sport. Its platform covers match capture, video analysis, performance data, scouting and athlete monitoring.
Their products include automated cameras for recording and livestreaming matches, tools for video review and tactical analysis, a global football video and statistics database, advanced analytics, and wearable and cloud-based systems for monitoring athlete performance.
About the Team
The team you will be joining builds the platforms that coaches and performance staff use to monitor and understand their athletes. Engineers own their work from design through to production, partner directly with product and design, and shape the technical direction of the platform.
The Engineering & Culture
The platform runs on distributed, event-driven services handling high volumes of performance data for a global customer base. The work is weighted towards the backend in C# and Node.js, with React and TypeScript on the frontend where needed.
Engineers are responsible for systems design and architecture decisions, and the team works to test-driven development and clean engineering standards.

They are looking for:
- A Senior/ Lead level Engineer with a product background OR experience working in a product company
- Strong in C# and/or Node.js, ideally both
- A track record of designing and scaling services on complex platforms
- Hands-on with event-driven architecture and messaging
- Practises TDD and writes clean, maintainable code
- Comfortable with some frontend work, ideally React
- Experience on AWS, Azure or GCP

This role is paying up to £100k + a bonus + stock options
