Taskmaster is recruiting a General Operative with an FLT licence on behalf of our client. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, hands on work and is looking for a long term role with a fixed afternoon shift.
Pay: £14.50 per hour, paid weekly

Please note: This is primarily a general operative position, with approximately 30% FLT work, as required. A Reach licence is preferred, although candidates with a Counterbalance licence will also be considered.
Your duties will include:
- Cutting products to size and operating machinery.
- Handling goods in and goods out.
- Preparing products for dispatch.
- Operating an FLT as required.
- Supporting general production and warehouse activities.
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy.
- Carrying out manual handling tasks, which may involve some heavy lifting.
What we’re looking for:
- An external FLT licence (out of date accepted) – ideally Reach, although Counterbalance will be considered.
- A reliable approach to attendance and timekeeping.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to safe working.
- Willingness to carry out general operative duties alongside FLT work.
- Availability to start as soon as possible.
Training: You must be available to work 6am–2pm for the first two weeks before moving onto the regular afternoon shift.
