Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an Contracts Manager ‘Commercial’ to join our client.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Review, preparation and submission of Electrical tenders, ensuring that all return date deadlines are met.
Preparation and submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) during the tender stage, maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants and design teams to clarify project requirements.
Pricing Procurement, sub-contractors, specialist sub-contractors & establish long lead time items etc
Ability to measure elements of works and create itemised Bills of Quantities as necessary
Finalisation of all tender bids, attend pre-order meetings, secure contracts and hand over package to M&E Contracts Managers.
Liaison with clients with regards to Electrical project variations and ensuring that all variations are recorded and instructed where deemed necessary.
Creating and maintaining accurate estimating records using the company’s estimating software and the Microsoft Office suite of software tools.

To be considered for this role, you must be fully qualified and have proven, previous experience as an Electrical Estimator ideally with a similar sized or larger organisation.
Proficient commercial / industrial electrical estimating experience
Ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings and project specifications
A full driving licence
CSCS an advantage
DBS an advantage (Can be applied for)
Ideally you will be a Time Served Electrician, progressed as an Estimator having worked in a Commercial, Industrial environment. Work accurately and effectively with minimal supervision, work well under pressure.
