The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in the growth and development of our Scotland Permanent Way Design team. You will combine strong technical judgement with collaborative leadership, helping us deliver multidisciplinary rail projects and bids that achieve safe, technically excellent and meaningful outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve. Our multidisciplinary portfolio includes Haymarket Depot, Transpennine Route Upgrade West of Leeds, Northern Powerhouse Rail, Metro 2 Washington and Lisburn–Antrim.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. • Understand relevant legislation, standards and assurance processes, including CDM, CSM, Network Rail Company Standards, RSSB Railway Industry Standards and National Technical Specification Notices.
