At Vickerstock, we’re looking for an Associate Director who wants that responsibility.
Established in 2008, Vickerstock is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a strong reputation across Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, Food Production and Professional Services.
We’ve built our business through long-standing relationships, specialist market knowledge and consistently delivering for clients.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking to strengthen our senior leadership team.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on commercial leadership role, combining personal revenue generation with responsibility for developing a specialist recruitment division.
You’ll have the autonomy to develop your market, build senior client relationships, lead and develop consultants, and influence the commercial direction of your division.
You’ll be supported by an established business, experienced colleagues and the infrastructure to deliver.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of divisional revenue, profitability and commercial performance.
- Developing new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Maintaining personal billing activity across senior, specialist and strategically important assignments.
- Leading, coaching and developing recruitment consultants.
- Identifying opportunities to grow your team and expand your specialist market.
- Developing retained, exclusive and higher-value recruitment partnerships.
- Contributing to wider business strategy alongside the Managing Director and leadership team.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re interested in speaking with experienced recruitment professionals who have a strong commercial track record and the ambition to take greater responsibility.
You’ll have demonstrated success in generating recruitment revenue, developing client relationships and coaching or leading others.
You’ll understand what makes a recruitment division commercially successful and have the confidence to take ownership of its performance.
Experience in our existing specialist markets would be advantageous, but we’re equally interested in individuals who have built successful careers in other professional recruitment sectors.
You don’t necessarily need to hold an Associate Director title today.
What matters is what you’ve achieved, how you approach your market and your ability to develop the people around you.
