Childrens Residential Support Worker are required to start immediately in a Lisburn-based care facility supporting vulnerable children and adolescents who require residential childcare. This is a temporary position offering up to 30 hours per week, the shift pattern will be AM Shift (7-2.30) or PM Shift (2-9.30pm) or a Long day (0730-2130), with working days varying from week to hourly pay rate ranges from £12,75 to £21.55, depending on the shift worked. The assignment is expected to run for a minimum of six months, with the potential for an extension.
The role involves providing young people with a safe, supportive and nurturing living environment. The children and young people may have mild learning difficulties, substance misuse issues, challenging behaviours and/or mental health needs, so candidates should be confident in providing appropriate care and support in a variety of circumstances.
