The Role

The successful candidate will join an established Investment Banking team focused on mid-market M&A, supporting the execution of domestic and cross-border transactions across a range of sectors.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced M&A professional looking for greater deal ownership, direct client exposure and broader involvement throughout the transaction lifecycle.

The position can be appointed at Associate or Senior Associate level depending on experience.

About the Role

• Execute mid-market buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
• Build and review financial models and valuation analysis
• Undertake DCF, trading comparables and precedent transaction analysis
• Prepare pitch books, information memoranda and transaction materials
• Coordinate financial and commercial due diligence processes
• Support transaction structuring, negotiations and deal execution
• Manage transaction workstreams from initial engagement through to completion
• Work closely with Directors and Managing Directors on live mandates
• Support junior Analysts

Your Experience

• Minimum three years’ Investment Banking / M&A experience required
• Experience within mid-market M&A advisory or Investment Banking strongly preferred
• Experience across buy-side and/or sell-side transactions
• Excellent understanding of DCF, trading comparables and precedent transaction analysis
• Experience preparing information memoranda, pitch books and client presentations
• Cross-border M&A experience advantageous
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability
• Excellent commercial judgement and analytical skills
