Senior EHV Design Manager – Substation & Grid Upgrade

Laing O’Rourke is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager or Design Manager to lead the design development of the Grimsby West 400kV AIS Substation, a core element of National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade Programme.

Based primarily in our Birmingham office with travel to Grimsby and occasional site work during construction, the role covers pricing, ECI and construction phases, collaborating with National Grid, WSP, designers and suppliers to shape buildable, safe and high-quality solutions.
