Azure Infrastructure Engineer – Hedge Fund – London

Attribution Search is partnering with a London-based hedge fund that is looking to hire an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join its London team

The successful candidate will work across a broad range of infrastructure technologies, contributing to cloud infrastructure projects, operational resilience and the continued development of the firm’s Microsoft environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor and enhance a complex, highly available Azure infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and operational processes using Terraform, PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, endpoint management and Azure networking.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term improvements.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, high availability and infrastructure security initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure in a production environment.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure networking.
• Proficiency in Terraform and PowerShell.
• Experience with Intune, PatchMyPC, Azure Virtual Desktop and Global Secure Access.
• Good understanding of high availability, disaster recovery and infrastructure resilience.
• Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls, networking, Kubernetes or broader DevOps practices would be advantageous.

Previous experience within a hedge fund, asset manager or wider financial services environment would be beneficial, although candidates from other technically demanding environments will also be considered.
