Job Description: Cardiology Consultant

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Consultant to join our dynamic team at Northampton General Hospital. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality cardiology services to our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert cardiology consultations and treatments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge in cardiology.
• Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
• Conduct and participate in research activities to advance cardiology practice.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice.
• Completion of higher specialist training in Cardiology.
• CCST or CESR in Cardiology.
• Experience in managing a wide range of cardiology conditions.
