Overview

As a Senior Application Developer at Citi Tech, you will maintain and enhance critical business applications while guiding their future direction. You’ll contribute to modernisation efforts and shape architectural choices for replacement applications, combining frontend and backend expertise. In a collaborative, learning-oriented environment, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure software that scales with global finance. This is a role with impact on new functionality, reliability, and the tech landscape of Citi’s portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain functionality using C# WPF and ASP.NET
• Contribute to the applications modernisation programme
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Debug and resolve application issues
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver features
• Create and execute unit and integration tests
• Learn and apply software development best practices

Key requirements

• Experience with modern frontend development
• Proficiency in C# WPF and ASP.NET
• Proficiency in React.js
• Ability to operate with limited supervision and act as SME for stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with testing (unit/integration) and code reviews
• Awareness of security, risk and regulatory considerations
