Senior Project Manager – Electrical

Overview

In this role you will lead day-to-day operations on large, multi-disciplinary commercial projects in London, specialising in electrical works within Skanska’s Building Services team. You will ensure design, engineering, construction and commissioning alignment and drive end-to-end programmes, commercial controls and risk mitigation. You will also manage tender processes, HSE compliance, and line-manage project staff. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management on large-scale multi-disciplinary commercial projects (pre-construction, design, procurement, installation, logistics, commissioning, handover) within Skanska JV.
• Ensure full compliance across design, engineering, construction and commissioning processes.
• Develop and administer project controls; ensure full implementation and compliance.
• Plan, scrutinise and monitor the end-to-end programme.
• Maintain control of commercial and contractual requirements.
• Oversee risk management and opportunities across the project.
• Compile tender submissions and secure sign-off from senior leadership.
• Implement and manage HSE systems; record and report accordingly.
• Line manage direct and indirect employees.

Key requirements

• Experience leading project teams on large commercial schemes in London with ~£25m package.
• Ability to manage multiple disciplines, interfaces and work sequences.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale MEP contracts to time and budget.
• Formal H&S training accreditation, with SMSTS minimum.
• Experience and knowledge of testing and commissioning complete MEP installations.
