Overview

As a BI Developer/Analyst, you translate complex data into strategic insights for a high-volume travel client. You will build and optimize dashboards with Power BI and Fabric, work with data engineers, and present findings to diverse stakeholders. You’ll leverage AI tools to accelerate insight generation and support data-driven decision making in a fast-paced, client-facing analytics team. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise dashboards and reports using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
• Translate datasets into actionable insights to support strategic decisions
• Develop and maintain DAX measures, calculations, and data models
• Write SQL queries to manipulate and manage relational data
• Leverage AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Claude Code) to improve development efficiency
• Apply prompt engineering to enhance analytics workflows and reporting
• Collaborate with data engineering to align reporting with data structures
• Engage with client stakeholders to understand needs and deliver impactful reporting
• Present findings and data-driven narratives to technical and non-technical audiences
• Identify trends and risks from large datasets
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and analytics capabilities

Key requirements

• Proven experience as BI Developer/BI Analyst/Data Analyst
• Advanced Power BI development including dashboards, data modelling, and visualisation
• Strong DAX development capabilities
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Solid SQL skills with relational databases
• Experience analyzing large, fast-moving datasets
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience presenting insights to clients or senior stakeholders
• Exposure to AI productivity tools (Copilot, Claude, Claude Code) and prompt engineering
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder relationships
