CMM Programmer
to join their Metrology team in Abingdon.The Role
As a CMM Programmer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of complex engineered components. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations teams, you will develop and optimise CMM inspection programmes while supporting new product development and production activities.Key Responsibilities
Develop and operate CMM inspection programmes using
PC-DMIS and/or MODUSCreate efficient and accurate inspection routines for complex componentsProgramme and operate
Hexagon CMMs
and/or
Renishaw Agility systemsReview engineering drawings and GD&T requirementsSupport continuous improvement projects within metrology and quality processesMaintain accurate inspection records and traceability documentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycleThe Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:Proven experience programming CMMs using
PC-DMIS and/or MODUSStrong understanding of
GD&T
and engineering drawingsExperience within a high-precision manufacturing or engineering environmentExcellent knowledge of metrology principles and inspection techniquesA proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvementWhat’s On Offer?
