to join its growing Work Winning team.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in
pricing and securing major water and civil engineering projects , working on complex, high-value schemes across the UK.You’ll take a leading role in developing
accurate, competitive and commercially robust estimates , working closely with pre-construction, engineering, commercial and operational teams to put together winning solutions.
The role
Lead the preparation of estimates for major civil engineering and water projectsTake ownership of pricing from early-stage opportunity through to tender submissionDevelop detailed and commercially robust estimatesReview construction methodologies, build-ups, risks and opportunitiesWork closely with design, engineering, commercial and operational teamsLead and coordinate estimating activities across complex tendersChallenge assumptions and identify opportunities to improve competitivenessSupport the development of winning strategies and value-engineered solutionsPresent estimates and pricing strategies to senior stakeholders
What they’re looking for
Strong
Senior Estimator / Estimator
experience within a Tier 1 or major infrastructure contractorStrong civil engineering backgroundExperience across
water, utilities, infrastructure or major civilsGood understanding of construction methodologies and buildabilityStrong knowledge of risk, pricing and commercial principlesExperience working on complex, multi-disciplinary tendersExcellent analytical and numerical skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, commercially minded approach with a genuine desire to win workIf you don’t tick every single box but have strong estimating experience across major civil engineering or infrastructure projects, I’d still be keen to speak.
