Bricklayer

LOCATION: Uckfield, East Sussex

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: Until 26th November 2026

PAY RATE: £26.00 per hour

HOURS: 8 hours paid per day

We are currently looking for two experienced and reliable bricklayers for a project in Uckfield, East Sussex, starting ASAP and running until 26th November 2026.

Candidates must have previous bricklaying experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to carry out work to a high standard. The successful applicants will be expected to work efficiently as part of a team, follow site instructions and maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

Duties

• Carrying out general bricklaying and blockwork.
• Laying bricks and blocks accurately and efficiently.
• Ensuring all work meets the required standards and project specifications.
• Working alongside other trades and site personnel.
• Following all site health and safety procedures.
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Using tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Completing work within the required timescales.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card.
• Own appropriate PPE.
• Previous bricklaying experience.
• References available upon request.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Available to start ASAP and work until 26th November 2026.
