Rate of pay
£16.16 working rate + £2.03 holiday pay = £18.19 per hour (PAYE)£21.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location and Working Pattern
SE7
On‑site, Monday to Friday – 10 hours per day (50 hours per week)

Responsibilities
- Carry out general groundworks duties including excavation, concreting and drainage
- Replace standard stainless steel structural fixings as part of site works
- Prepare and maintain work areas in line with project specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Support trades and site operatives as required
- Follow site instructions and uphold health and safety standards
- Complete tasks to high quality and productivity requirements
Must‑have Requirements
- Current and valid CSCS card
- CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) clearance already held – this is mandatory
- Proven experience working as a Groundworker on civil engineering or construction projects
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance
Nice‑to‑have Skills
- Experience working within a high‑security environment or large infrastructure site
- Additional tickets or plant operator certifications (e.g. dumper, roller)
