P3M Data & Reporting Lead- London, Manchester, Birmingham

Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of data-driven solutions to support effective project management within infrastructure programmes. You will work with senior stakeholders to shape reporting strategies, build advanced dashboards, and ensure data quality across multiple systems. You will mentor junior colleagues and drive best practices, innovation, and AI-enabled insights within the Infrastructure Digital team. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of digital controls solutions aligned to P3M frameworks
• Engage with senior stakeholders to define reporting strategies and translate complex requirements into actionable solutions
• Design and build advanced dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, and other platforms
• Oversee data integration from multiple systems ensuring consistency, accuracy, and performance
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and structures to support enterprise-level reporting
• Provide expert guidance on data quality, governance, and reporting best practices
• Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering capability growth
• Contribute to thought leadership, innovation, and continuous improvement across digital services

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in data/reporting analyst roles with demonstrable experience in project or programme environments
• Strong understanding of P3M principles and project controls methodologies
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills with ability to interpret and present data effectively
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel (including macros and automation)
• Proven experience in designing and implementing data models and reporting frameworks
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience delivering to executive audiences
• Experience leading work packages and mentoring junior colleagues
