Halo Automation Engineer

Halo ITSM Automation Engineer | Contract | Outside IR35 | Immediate start Client: national UK charityWe’re looking for a hands‑on Halo ITSM specialist to deliver a defined set of automation requirements and identify further opportunities across the service desk.

What you’ll do

• Review the existing automation requirements and turn them into working Halo workflows and automations.
• Build, test and deploy the automations through to production.
• Assess current ITSM processes and recommend further automation opportunities, prioritised by value and effort.
• Document all configuration and hand over knowledge to the internal team so they can support it themselves.

What you’ll bring

• Strong, recent hands‑on experience with Halo ITSM (HaloPSA experience is also relevant), including workflow configuration, automation rules, ticket types and SLAs.
• Experience with Halo integrations, such as the Halo API, webhooks, Integrator and runbooks.
• Scripting or integration experience is a plus, for example PowerShell, REST APIs, or Entra ID and Intune integration.
• A proven track record of taking requirements through to tested, deployed automation.
• Clear documentation habits and confidence running knowledge transfer with non-specialist teams.
