Backend Engineer (Ruby on Rails) — CI/CD & Reliability, Remote

GitLab is hiring for a Backend Engineer on the Pipeline Authoring team. You will help mature the Catalog and Component functionality, improve performance and security, and ensure a smooth, scalable CI/CD experience across GitLab’s platform.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a globally distributed, async environment. A strong focus on code quality, testing, and continuous learning will help us deliver reliable, user-friendly pipeline capabilities.
