Lead/Senior Software Engineer – TypeScript, Node.js, React, Java, Kotlin, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes – Structured Products – Financial Services
Must have: TypeScript/Node.js, distributed systems, AWS/Kubernetes, Financial Services experience
Our client, a leading Tech provider to global financial institutions, requires a Lead Engineer to own its documentation platform and a Senior Engineer to own its core platform services. Structured products knowledge is a real bonus, but isn’t essential.
You’ll be:
- Building cloud-native distributed systems (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Developing in TypeScript/Node.js with React (Lead) or Java/Kotlin (Senior)
- Building event-driven integrations with Kafka and REST APIs
- Owning production reliability, observability and incident response
- Leading architecture, engineering standards and mentoring
- Taking part in production support
Required: TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, Financial Services. Lead: React, previous Lead experience. Senior: Java/Kotlin, Kafka
Desirable: Structured products, derivatives, PRIIPs, Keycloak, OAuth2/OIDC, Datadog, Elastic APM
