Dayshift Maintenance Engineer
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support reliable production at an established, global manufacturing business. In this hands-on role, you will maintain equipment, respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance, using your electrical and mechanical skills in an automated environment.
The position is based onsite in Monaghan, County Monaghan, and follows a Monday to Friday dayshift pattern, with hours of 9am to 5pm. Working onsite offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with production while supporting equipment performance across the site.

The Role:
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment faults.* Carry out preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns.* Support production colleagues with equipment issues.* Accurately record repairs, maintenance activity and equipment changes.* Follow site safety procedures, including permits to work and lockout/tagout.* Work with engineering colleagues and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
The Person:
* Completed an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, with a relevant engineering qualification or equivalent.* At least two years of relevant manufacturing or production experience.* Practical experience in electrical and mechanical fault-finding and planned maintenance.* An organised approach to troubleshooting and prioritising work.* Comfortable working independently and alongside colleagues.
