Visitor Engagement and Support Officer – Greyfriars, Lincoln
Greyfriars is one of Lincoln’s most historic and atmospheric buildings, and we’re bringing it to life as a vibrant destination for events, community activities and cultural experiences. We’re looking for two enthusiastic and friendly Visitor Experience & Support Officers to help us create a welcoming, memorable experience for everyone who visits.
Location: Greyfriars, LincolnHours: Role 1 – 10.5 hrs a week (0.28FTE) Role 2 – 12hrs a week (0.32FTE)Salary: £25,877 pro-rata
Term: Initial fixed term for 15 months, with potential for continuation subject to funding and performance.

Greyfriars is looking for two Visitor Experience & Support Officers to join our team. In this varied role, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, helping to create a warm and memorable welcome. You’ll also support the smooth daily running of the site, assist with events and activities, and ensure our historic venue is safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Previous experience in customer service or a front-of-house role is essential, alongside a friendly and approachable manner, strong communication skills and a genuine passion for creating excellent visitor experiences. We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enthusiastic about welcoming visitors and helping to make Greyfriars a vibrant and enjoyable place for everyone.
