It is now looking to strengthen its toolroom with the addition of an experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker.
£35,000-£43,000 + bonus, pension contributions of up to 7.5% and 33 days’ holiday

This is a varied, hands-on role in which you’ll operate a range of toolroom machinery, including milling, grinding, turning, spark erosion and laser welding, to manufacture, develop and maintain tooling from initial concept through to final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities of the Injection Moulding Toolmaker
- Fitting and assembling new injection mould tools, ensuring each component meets specification and performs reliably in a production environment.
- Maintaining and improving existing tooling through repairs, modifications and ongoing technical support for injection moulding operations.
- Operating a range of toolroom machinery to manufacture, modify and repair tooling to the required standards.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience working as a Toolmaker, specifically with injection mould tooling.
- Hold a Level 3 BTEC or equivalent vocational qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
- Be competent in operating a range of toolroom machinery, including milling, turning, grinding, spark erosion and welding equipment.
- Be confident reading and interpreting technical drawings, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions to keep production running smoothly.
- Have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
