Site Agent – Highways
South West England | Contract | Inside IR35 | Major Infrastructure
Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong background in highways and major civil engineering projects?
Ganymede Solutions is recruiting for an established Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering a significant highways scheme in the South West. We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join an established delivery team and play a key role in taking the project through its remaining construction phase.
The Role
You’ll be working across the delivery of highways works including:
- Road construction
- Drainage
- Kerbing
- Tie-ins
- Highway connections
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for providing direction to members of the site delivery and engineering team while ensuring the high levels of compliance expected within a Tier 1 contracting environment. The scope of works reflects the underlying client brief.
What We’re Looking For
We want to speak with experienced Site Agents who can demonstrate:
- Strong Site Agent experience
- Major highways and roads experience
- Streetworks knowledge
- Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
- Site management and supervision experience
- Strong people and project-management skills
- Excellent leadership and accountability
- The confidence to take ownership and provide clear direction to a delivery team
Essential Qualifications
You’ll need:
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
The Contract
- Initial 6-month contract
- Potential to extend to approximately 12 months
- Inside IR35
- Monday to Friday, fully site based
