A major public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst to support a large-scale data migration and transformation programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing high volumes of unstructured data, producing migration analysis outputs, supporting data governance activities, and delivering automation to improve migration efficiency and auditability.,

• Analyse large volumes of unstructured data across enterprise environments.
• Produce data packs, reports and migration readiness assessments.
• Apply data retention and classification policies to datasets.
• Support migration planning, execution and validation activities.
• Automate data preparation and post-migration activities using PowerShell.
• Maintain accurate audit logs and migration records.
• Identify data quality issues and support remediation activities.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the migration life cycle.
• Produce clear analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
• Strong understanding of unstructured data and associated challenges.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Knowledge of data retention, governance and classification principles.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data migration programmes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience creating and maintaining audit logs and data records.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience automating data preparation and reporting activities.
