Sirona Medical are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers and Healthcare Support Workers to work in Hertfordshire. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Support Workers, Care Assistants and Healthcare Assistants looking for rewarding agency work with competitive hourly pay rates of £15–£17 per hour. Sirona Medical is seeking dedicated Support Workers who can deliver person-centred care, promote independence and support individuals with their daily living needs.
Essential Requirements – Support Worker
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults in a residential, supported living or healthcare setting.
- A good understanding of safeguarding adults and duty of care.
- Experience providing personal care and assisting with daily living activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient and professional approach to care.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to undergo the necessary checks.
- Relevant mandatory training and an understanding of person-centred care.
Support Worker – Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users.
- Assisting individuals with personal care and everyday living activities.
- Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
- Supporting individuals with their emotional, physical and social needs.
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintaining accurate daily care records and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Supporting service users with activities and community engagement where required.
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, supportive and positive environment.
- Following safeguarding policies, infection prevention procedures and health and safety guidelines.
