HGV Technician – Bicester

The Role – HGV Technician:

At this time, Silcom Recruitment are aiding one of our specialist clients in their search for experienced HGV Technicians to join their freshly established workshop.

Your Mission –

“To repair and service commercial vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidance and current industry standards, ensuring that you utilise the most time efficient, cost-effective and safe method of working.”

Responsibilities & Requirements of an HGV Technician:

• To ensure that all HGV’s that are on site to be repaired, are treated with respect and care
• Complete all vehicle repair and maintenance records as required at the end of a repair/service in clear detail.
• Diagnose vehicle faults as required, ensuring if relevant, latest technology is used.
• Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
• Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.
• Producing time estimates.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Occasional Service/Breakdown call outs

Package:

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependant on experience)

+ Including Bonus & other benefits

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm + Overtime
