Job Description:
Stockport Council is seeking an Interim Finance Systems Accountant to lead the configuration, maintenance and development of the Council’s core financial management systems. You will translate accounting requirements into practical system solutions and act as a key link between Finance, ICT, suppliers, auditors and users.
The role will support system upgrades, testing, automation and process redesign to deliver accurate financial management, statutory reporting and audit assurance.
