New Product Development Advisor

Overview

In this role you will support end-to-end EPD and NPD activities for Morrisons’ chilled range, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. You will work within the Product Development team to align with site plans and commercial targets. You will engage with customers and stakeholders to shape category analyses and driving profitable pricing. Your collaboration with operations and technical experts will help keep Morrisons’ chilled products best in class. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role offering meaningful impact on product quality and margin.

Responsibilities

• Support the concept to launch process for chilled products
• Assist the NPD Specialist and Manager with the Site Product Development Plan
• Attend customer research sessions and debriefs
• Produce concise category analyses from reliable data sources
• Collaborate with operations to ensure best-in-class chilled products
• Work with technical experts to safeguard quality for Morrisons customers
• Ensure products are profitably priced and meet margin expectations
• Ensure pricing and samples prepared for customers are accurate and timely

Key requirements
