Responsibilities

• Advise on investment and development finance transactions
• Handle acquisition and refinancing matters
• Support portfolio and multi-asset financings
• Structure real estate-backed lending
• Represent lenders, borrowers, investors and developers
• Participate in cross-border and complex financing arrangements
• Support major deals from inception through to completion

Key requirements

• Real estate finance experience in a recognised commercial law firm
• Around 6+ years PQE in real estate finance
• Experience acting for lenders, borrowers, or both
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
• Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers
• Collaborative and proactive approach to work
• Solicitor qualification in England & Wales or Scotland
