AI Engineer

Overview

In this AI Engineer role you will design, build and deploy AI-powered applications, taking solutions from prototype to production to deliver real business impact. You’ll work across the full solution lifecycle, ensuring robust data, integrations and scalable architecture. You’ll build AI-enabled workflows, conversational assistants and document processing while collaborating with stakeholders to translate challenges into practical tech. This is a hands-on role in a fast‑moving, AI-focused environment with a strong emphasis on delivering value.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI-powered applications across the full solution lifecycle
• Create AI-enabled solutions such as conversational assistants, workflow automation and intelligent document processing
• Develop applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based approaches
• Move solutions from prototype to deployment, with monitoring and continuous improvement
• Build and maintain APIs, integrations and data pipelines supporting AI applications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into technical solutions
• Support user testing, rollout and adoption of AI capabilities
• Contribute to engineering standards, testing, documentation and CI/CD practices

Key requirements

• Experience in software engineering, application development, APIs, integrations or data pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python or a similar language
• Exposure to Large Language Models, prompting, model APIs or AI applications
• Experience working with SQL and real-world data
• Experience deploying solutions into cloud environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrable ability to learn new technologies quickly
