Overview

In this role within Deloitte’s Value Creation Services (VCS), you help Financial Services clients turn strategic aims into measurable results through performance improvement, deal-related diligence, and post-deal value creation. You work with management teams to align initiatives and drive impactful, sustainable change, leveraging cross-functional collaboration across regulatory, consulting, and financial diligence teams. You will lead operational due diligence efforts and translate findings into practical delivery plans, shaping client outcomes and value. The opportunity combines hands-on implementation with rigorous analysis in a fast-growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Identify value creation opportunities for Financial Services clients and translate into delivery plans
• Coordinate with management to align and implement initiatives quickly
• Lead high-quality operational due diligence across deal sizes and structures with clear insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional Deloitte teams to provide an integrated view of performance, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Foster an inclusive, supportive team environment by coaching and developing colleagues

Key requirements

• Experience delivering performance improvement, transformation or turnaround programmes
• Experience in operational due diligence, carve-outs, integrations, 100-day planning or post-deal value creation
• Knowledge of Financial Services; cross-sector experience valued
• Evidence of developing client relationships and expanding impact
• Ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication; adaptable messaging
• Analytical approach using data/MI to diagnose performance and shape actions
• Commitment to inclusive leadership and developing others
• Willingness to travel internationally when required
