Data Centres, Valuation Surveyor / Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will support a growing Data Centre Valuation & Advisory team in London, shaping valuations and financial analyses for a mix of data centre and other income-producing assets. You’ll work with cross-market assignments across the UK, EMEA and beyond, applying advanced modelling to drive investment decisions. This is a chance to develop technical expertise in a fast-growing sector with experienced colleagues. A strong foundation in financial modelling and a hands-on use of valuation tools will help you progress in a specialist field.

Responsibilities

• Build, review and refine complex financial models with emphasis on DCF and ARGUS
• Value operational data centres, development assets and investment portfolios
• Analyse financial performance, capex and development assumptions
• Support transaction underwriting, commercial due diligence, secured lending and financial reporting
• Review financial statements, contracts and operating agreements
• Produce detailed valuation reports and investment analyses for institutional clients

Key requirements

• Strong financial modelling capabilities with advanced Excel and DCF experience
• Experience with ARGUS Enterprise and/or ARGUS Developer in valuation/investment context
• Experience valuing data centres or other operational real estate assets
• Solid understanding of investment valuation methodologies, income analysis and cash flow forecasting
• Background in commercial valuation, investment analysis or real estate advisory
• MRICS qualification or progress towards chartership advantageous
