Project Manager

Overview

In this role, you will define and deliver strategic IT projects that support the university’s IT services and infrastructure. You will collaborate with technical and architecture teams and stakeholders across the university to ensure projects meet scope, time, cost, and quality targets. You will monitor progress, manage risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders, shaping how IT services are designed, transitioned, and enhanced. This position offers the chance to work within the IT Project Management team driving meaningful technology initiatives in a large academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver allocated, typically strategic IT projects in support of existing or new services
• Ensure service design and transition processes are followed during service introduction, enhancement, or decommissioning
• Provide effective progress reporting and maintain records of decisions, costs, time, resources, and scope changes
• Monitor progress against plan, identify risks and opportunities, and manage changes through change control
• Identify and engage stakeholders and project team members with clear responsibilities and resources
• Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and engagement
