Information Manager with Digital Design Experience

Overview

In this Information Manager role, you enable effective information, data and digital delivery across major UK water projects. You’ll drive consistency and compliance in project information and digital deliverables to support multidisciplinary collaboration and informed decision-making. You’ll promote best practices in BIM and information management, contribute to the group’s digital transformation, and nurture the next generation of professionals. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position within Jacobs’ Regulated Water team, offering exposure to industry-leading platforms and a clear path to influence digital delivery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of project information management requirements
• Establish and govern Common Data Environments
• Guide teams in ISO 19650 principles and workflows
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design information and digital deliverables
• Support onboarding, mentoring and capability development in BIM and information management
• Promote standards, processes, and best practices across projects and teams
• Collaborate with project managers, designers and clients to deliver high-quality digital outcomes
• Enable digital innovation initiatives across the water portfolio

Key requirements

• Experience in Information Management, BIM, or Digital Delivery in water, infrastructure, utilities or built environment
• Proven track record leading information management and digital delivery on multidisciplinary projects
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 with practitioner certification or equivalent
• Experience establishing and governing Common Data Environments and workflows
• Knowledge of BIM processes and digital delivery methodologies
• Experience with Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk solutions, Asite or similar environments
• Ability to coordinate design information exchanges and deliverables to meet client need
• Understanding of model coordination, issue management and clash detection workflows
• Working knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
