Job Description Managing Building Surveyor Southampton, Hampshire Salary £80,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + 25 Days Holiday n Blaymires Recruitment is working with an established property and construction consultancy based near Southampton that is searching for a Managing Building Surveyor to join their team. n The business specialises in supporting clients with cladding combustibility risk, defects, and remedial works, and is currently managing a variety of projects across social housing, private landlords and management companies. n This is an excellent opportunity for a Managing Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor to step up and join a growing consultancy where you will play a key role in managing and leading a team of building surveyors who are undertaking project management duties. Key Responsibilities n •Lead a team of Building Surveyors and deliver a range of building surveying services across public and private sectors. n •Mentor and oversee junior surveyors, supporting their professional development and APC progression. n •Manage contract administration, condition surveys, dilapidations and technical reporting. n •Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for senior stakeholders. n •Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest standards. About You n •Chartered (MRICS) Building Surveyor or working towards. n •Confident managing projects and client relationships. n •Project management experience across a diverse range of sectors and project types. n •Excellent communication and leadership skills.
