Were recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Programming).Youll bring new aerospace products into production and improve our manufacturing processes.
Youll need at least 1 years manufacturing experience and a relevant engineering HND, degree or completed apprenticeship with relevant experience. CAM software experience and knowledge of G and M codes and CNC machining are essential.
Responsibilities include:??Programming aerospace components offline for 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines??Designing fixtures and workholding devices??Selecting and testing cutting tools??Verifying NC code using Vericut??Creating process booklets and instructions for machine set-up and tool assembly??Working with Production and Quality teams to improve manufacturing methods??Developing manufacturing concepts and supporting project quotations??Updating component information in our ERP system??Working with tooling manufacturers and external programming subcontractors
