Your new company n This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, SME privately owned business in a broad and influential finance role. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong controls, and supporting business decision-making across multiple companies.
n Your new role n Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while producing timely and accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:

- n
- Producing monthly and consolidated management accounts
- Managing month-end and year-end processes
- Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Managing cash flow forecasting, banking relationships and supplier payments
- Overseeing VAT returns, fixed assets and statutory reporting
- Liaising with auditors and finance providers
- Providing financial analysis and reporting to Directors and business owners

What you'll need to succeed n You will be an experienced accountant with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a hands-on environment. You will be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and managing a varied workload.n You'll ideally have:

- n
- Experience producing management accounts
- Strong month-end and financial reporting knowledge
- Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills
- Cash flow, budgeting and forecasting experience
- A proactive and organised approach
- Experience with Sage 50 would be advantageous
