Electrical Engineer

Talentmark are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a multinational, multi-industry company on a contract basis for 6 months. This role is fully site based in Norwich. This is an urgent role and will need someone to start in October 2026.

The Company:

Our client is a multinational company in a range of industries including renewable energy and healthcare products.

Salary:

£167.35 per day PAYE or £222.89 per day via umbrella. Rates are dependent upon experience.

Electrical Engineer Role:

• Assess the probable impact that the work will have on the Electrical Installation.
• Ensure that all necessary signage, such as operation signs, warning signs and required barriers, are in place.
• Perform risk management for work activities.
• Acknowledge the return of Permit to Work or Permit to Test from the Nominated person in charge of works (PICW) before taking measures to change the configuration of the electrical system.
• Ensure that required tests have been performed prior to energisation, i.e insulation tests of equipment and associated cables test, protective earthing continuity, etc. in accordance to the inspection test plan.

Your Background:

• Hold relevant electrical qualifications & certifications
• Experience in the national grid or the energy industry
• Demonstrable experience in planning and risk management

This role may be subject to a satisfactory basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
