Cornerstone Project Source Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading ground construction specialist for Temporary Welder and Fabricator roles in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.Start Date: ImmediateEmployment Type: TemporaryRate: Welders: approximately £20 per hour | Fabricators: approximately £23 per hourHours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM on site (approximately 9.5 hours paid daily)Parking: Parking and canteen on siteDuration: 1 to 2 months depending on performanceLocation: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire (client yard)Type of Work: Structural and temporary works steel fabrication and welding in a yard environment

Duties

• Fabrication and welding of temporary works, including whalers and beams for construction sites
• Structural and temporary steel fabrication
• Working to drawings and specifications in a busy yard environment

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator in a structural or temporary works environment
• Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings
• Coded welding tickets are not required
• Reliable, punctual and able to start at short notice
